Really cute spot in wynwood with a good vibe and excellent attentive service which is hard to find in Miami. We got an assortment of appetizers and entrées, and they were all delicious. My favorite was the duck dumpling appetizer and the pork belly entrée. The octopus was also very good. I had one of my favorite desserts I’ve ever had, the baked Alaskan with a cornbread cake. All of the cocktails were unique and made well. Would definitely go back!
Shiso in Wynwood was an amazing dining experience from start to finish. We were seated immediately upon arrival and the staff did a great job walking us through the menu and giving recommendations, which made it easy to choose some standout dishes. One thing that really stood out was the team service. We were helped by multiple servers throughout the night, and everyone was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. The service was incredibly efficient — all of our food came out quickly, and within about an hour we had enjoyed more than five different dishes without ever feeling rushed. The salmon crispy rice was easily a highlight and absolutely to die for. The duck dumplings were savory and packed with flavor, while the brisket croquettes were soft, rich, and delicious. The real showstopper though was the oxtail udon noodles — a must-order dish that no one should miss. We also tried the cornbread, which was surprisingly memorable and a perfect addition to the meal. Between the fast service, knowledgeable staff, and standout dishes, Shiso is definitely a spot I would come back to when in Wynwood.
This spot is such a vibe from start to finish! The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and effortlessly chic. It’s perfect for a romantic date night or even a stylish night out with friends. The décor strikes that sweet balance of classy and modern, setting the tone for a great evening. I went solo and I ordered the Miami Spice menu option while sitting at the bar. Let me just say, the drinks were on point! The small plates were absolutely divine, full of flavor and beautifully presented. Dessert wasn’t my favorite, but honestly, I usually don’t even make it that far because the food and drinks keep me satisfied. Overall, I loved everything about this place and I’ll definitely be back very soon. Highly recommend if you’re looking for good vibes, delicious food, and top-notch drinks!
The chef is on point. Everything was fresh. Flavorful arrangements that make your pallet sing for joy. Presentation was good and service was Excellent!! Live entertainment had the crowd singing off key in unison. DJ left no crumbs. Great experience! Highly recommend.
Chiso, located in the heart of Wynwood, is a beautiful indoor-outdoor rooftop spot with a lot of potential in my opinion. I sat at the beautiful indoor bar during happy hour and had a few bites. I tried the Shiso salad, duck dumplings, smoked brisket croquette, and the salmon belly roll. Everything was good but my favorite were the croquettes. rich and full of flavor. All in all, it’s a good spot for drinks and a few bites.
Had a lovely dinner with the family here on our last night in Miami. The food was amazing. We had the BBQ toro, the sliced hamachi, the salmon belly roll, the duck dumplings, the smoked brisket croquets, the smoked sticky ribs, the cornbread service, and one of the desserts (pictured, but I can’t remember what it was called). Everything was delicious. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The ambience on the rooftop terrace was fantastic. I could not recommend this place highly enough!
The food was great. My favorite were the oxtail noodles and my boyfriend loved the pork belly and the crudo. Everything delicious and Gabby, the bartender was helpful and amazing. She made us some great drinks and everything she recommended was on point. Loved It
Shiso Miami is an incredible discovery. We absolutely loved the atmosphere the service and the food. The vibe of the place is perfect and the staff is very attentive making the whole experience seamless. We ordered a variety of dishes and everything was excellent. The king crab crispy rice was a highlight and the duck dumplings were packed with flavor. For the mains the oxtail udon noodles and the flap meat were both perfectly executed and the grilled octopus was tender and delicious. We also tried a couple of their cocktails which were expertly crafted and refreshing. Every dish we tried was top tier and I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for great food and a fantastic environment in Miami. We will definitely be back.
I sat at the bar at Shisho and had such a great experience. The bartender was attentive without being overbearing, and the overall vibe was on point. The decor is swanky, the lighting is moody, and the music? Definitely a vibe. It just felt cool in there. Food-wise, the slice hamachi was the star of the night for me, 10/10. The freshness, the texture, the flavor balance… everything just worked. It was easily my favorite dish. The salmon belly maki also surprised me in the best way. I don’t think I’ve had salmon belly before, and paired with the truffle oil, it was rich, flavorful, and honestly another 10/10. That roll exceeded my expectations. Now, the duck dumplings — I know a lot of reviews say they’re the favorite, but for me they were my least favorite of what I ordered. They weren’t bad at all (I’d still give them a 7/10), but I think I went in expecting something crispy or fried, and that’s not what they are. That mismatch was on me. They were good, just not the standout compared to the hamachi and salmon belly. I was slightly skeptical about the Asian-Caribbean fusion concept before going, but everything felt cohesive and well-executed. I also had the Sakerinha (a play on a Brazilian caipirinha), and that drink was dangerously good. I could’ve had five and needed to be wheeled out. Absolutely delicious. Bonus points for including the service charge in the bill. As someone who doesn’t love navigating tipping culture, I appreciate when restaurants just include it upfront so there’s no guesswork. Overall: great atmosphere, strong flavors, and a very solid experience. I’ll definitely be back. EDIT: OK I took one dumpling home and left it overnight in the fridge. The next day I ate it cold and you guysssss it was delicious! That’s all.
My experience at Shiso was great!! The cornbread was amazing. My drink was recommended by my waiter, (can't recall the name) but had a strawberry cold foam and hint of coffee..unique but very good. I had salmon belly sushi as an appetizer and sea bass with side of rice as my main. My waiter was super accommodating with leaving the sauce off and fish was still super flavorful. Will be back in the future! SN: music was great!!
